The SLC2: 30 years of development, designed first and foremost for public leisure operation.

Strengths of the SLC2.
Instant torque, controlled power.
30 Nm available from the very first turn of the wheel, with no gearbox or clutch: the pick-up is not up for negotiation. Power adjustable up to 23 hp (17 kW), asynchronous brushless motor.
Up to 120 km/h, adjustable speed limiting.
Five preset speeds and reverse via the diagnostic unit: the same kart for a child and an experienced driver. Top speed of 120 km/h unrestricted, 70 km/h in the French indoor configuration.
MaxCharge system.
A charging system that adapts automatically to the state of the battery. The result: karts that are always charged and longer battery life (7 years for a lead battery).
Zero emissions.
No noise, no fuel, no exhaust extraction: can be run in a city centre as well as indoors.
Vitality that lasts.
Motor: a service life of over 20 years, with no oil changes and no combustion-related wear parts. Controller: 20 years. Chassis: 10 years.
MaxShield protection.
Energy-absorbing foams, optimised through computer crash testing, absorb compressions of 10 tonnes on impact. Placed all around the kart, they cushion the impact before it reaches the driver and protect the equipment.
Built to be repaired.
95% of components can be replaced in under eight minutes. Ten-year chassis, 99% fleet availability, no kart out of action due to a breakdown.
600 components, 100% France.
Designed, machined and assembled by hand in Clermont-Ferrand. Dismantlable, repairable, recyclable: designed to fight planned obsolescence.
MaxFrame chassis.
A bolted, not welded, chassis that can be replaced and straightened after an impact. Its rectangular rather than round structure gives it both flexibility and strength. The result: a 10-year service life.

3 battery technologies.
Lead, lithium or sodium: the SLC2 takes all three chemistries. Each has its own technical characteristics, cost and wear curve: compare them before you decide.

Lead
The original chemistry: the lowest upfront investment, with a charging time equal to driving time. Better suited to indoor centres.
Lithium
Better suited to outdoor tracks: longer range and better performance on track.
New
Sodium
The successor to lithium: the same characteristics, with no risk of overheating and no temperature constraints in use — from the coldest environment to the hottest.
